Management structure of the Partnership

Partnership Management Board

To consult each other, to prepare decisions and to steer activities under the Partnership, the European Commission and the Council of Europe set up a "Partnership Management Board" bringing together representatives of both partners.
The Partnership Management Board contributes to the co-ordination of the different thematic areas and pronounces its opinion on the annual specific agreements.

Partnership Sectorial Groups

In order to associate other stakeholders and partners concerned by the co-operation, "Partnership Sectorial Groups" have been established.
They bring together representatives from institutions and agencies such as the European Youth Forum, National Agencies for the Youth in Action programme, SALTO Resource Centers or researchers. At present there are three such groups on

• "European Citizenship, Quality and Recognition"
• "Euro-Mediterranean cooperation, Human Rights and Intercultural Dialogue"
• "Better Understanding and Youth Policy"

Partnership Consultation Meetings

In addition to these Sectorial Groups, "Partnership Consultation Meetings" will be held at least once a year.
They will gather members of the Management Board, the Sectorial Groups and other interested parties to exchange information, to increase synergies among stakeholders involved and to secure the transparency of the Partnership and the relevance of the activities.

Partnership Secretariat

The Partnership is supported by a Partnership manager and a secretariat responsible for the implementation and visibility of the activities.
