klinzing@ijab.de

Teaser :
The University of Strathclyde as organiser of this international conference has launched a call for papers. The conference takes place from 7th until 9th September 2010 in Glasgow (UK). It crosses disciplinary boundaries to examine research, theories and practices that contribute to youth work and our understandings of young people in the 21st century.

News :
Abstracts of 300 words should be sent to the conference administrator: karen.mcdairmant@strath.ac.uk by Friday 13th November 2009.Any groupings that wish to offer a symposium, should submit up to four abstracts as one document. This should be clearly marked Symposium and will include an introductory paragraph that clarifies the connecting theme and the name of the main contact for correspondence. Anyone interested in presenting within a symposium BUT not linked to other presenters, should tick the 'symposium option' box on the Abstract Proposal Form. Where possible, conference organisers will connect presenters who are writing about similar themes. In such circumstances, individuals will be notified in advance of the conference if they are to present individually or in symposium.Presenters will be notified of the decision regarding their paper(s) within one month of submitting the abstract. All delegates who submit an abstract before Friday 13th November 2009 will qualify for a discount. All papers will be peer reviewed and considered for publication in forthcoming editions of the Scottish Youth Issues Journal.Check the event website for more details: www.strath.ac.uk/pdu/mg2010/
