Research
The research co-operation between the Council of Europe and the European Commission was initiated in 2003 in a format of a Research Covenant. It took up the long-standing youth research tradition of the Council of Europe, aiming to enhance evidence-based youth policy and practice by encouraging a consistent dialogue between the youth work activists, policy makers and youth researchers. In 2005 it became a integral part of the joint Framework Partnership agreement, and now comprises several types of activities:
