6th AFRICA-EUROPE Training Course for Youth Organisations «Youth participation in the Joint EU-Africa strategy»

In 2009, the Youth-Partnership between the Council of Europe and the European Commission includes an Euro-African Dimension implemented by the North-South Centre.

This new partnership envelop is a direct consequence and follow-up of the previous five Euro-african training courses organised by the North-South Centre and of the Africa Europe Youth Summit process facilitated by the North-South Centre in 2007.

As part of the Youth-Partnership between the Council of Europe and the European Commission and building on the success of the previous Africa-Europe training courses for youth organisations, the NSC organised the 6th Africa-Europe training course for 30 youth leaders from Africa and Europe. This course was implemented in a larger framework in parallel with other youth Activities focusing in African youth cooperation.

The University on Youth and Development was held in Tarrafal, 12-19 June 2009.
